Edmonton 311 App Redesign
UI/UX redesign of the City of Edmonton's 311 mobile app for reporting civic issues and improving user experience.
As part of a comprehensive UX/UI project, I led the redesign of the City of Edmonton's 311 mobile app—an essential public service tool for reporting civic issues like road hazards, broken streetlights, and litter. The goal was to improve user experience by addressing critical usability issues, modernizing the interface, and encouraging long-term engagement. I conducted research including heuristic evaluation and user interviews, developed empathy maps and personas, created wireframes and prototypes, overhauled the information architecture by reducing clutter, and proposed a rewards system to incentivize continued app usage.
